We are looking for an organised, proactive and adaptable Group Services Coordinator to join our team and play a key role supporting academic leaders, staff and students.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys being the “person who knows how to get things done” — from coordinating meetings and managing travel to navigating multiple systems, spreadsheets, processes and deadlines with confidence. Ngā Haepapa Matua | Key Responsibilities (not limited too):
Providing high-level administrative support to academic leaders
Managing diaries, meetings, events and communications
Working across multiple systems, databases and spreadsheets daily
Supporting recruitment, onboarding and staff processes
Coordinating travel, purchasing, invoicing and reconciliations
Assisting with reports, documentation and data management
Building strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across the University

This is a full-time (37.5 hrs p/w) permanent position
The remuneration range is $63,600 - $79,300 per annum, dependent on skills and experience He kōrero mōu | About you You’re a true all-rounder who enjoys variety and takes pride in staying organised and one step ahead. You’re comfortable switching between tasks, learning new systems quickly, and keeping track of the finer details while managing competing priorities.
You will bring:
Strong administration and coordination experience
Confidence working across multiple systems and spreadsheets
Excellent organisation and time management skills
A proactive, customer-focused approach
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
The ability to build relationships with a wide range of people
