Responsibilities

Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity 


Te Kahu Tauira I Student & Scholarly Services (SaSS) brings together student experience, wellbeing, academic services, library and learning services, and student operations to deliver integrated, student-centred services that support learner success, engagement and belonging across the University.


The Student Hub team is looking for a Manager, Student Hubs & Client Services. This fixed-term role is covering for a secondment, and the contract dates are likely to be August 2026 – January 2027. It is a full-time, 37.5 hours per week, role with a Monday-Friday work pattern (start and end times negotiable) and the salary range is $114,400 - $124,000 per annum. 


The Student Hubs and Client Services Manager leads the delivery of high-quality, student-centred services across multiple campus locations, including Student Hubs, Libraries and Information Commons.


This position works closely alongside the Manager, Student Hubs Advisory and Partnerships. Managing several service teams, the role is responsible for working closely with stakeholders across the University to deliver a seamless and positive student experience throughout the student journey.


The successful candidate will drive service excellence, identify opportunities to improve and streamline services, and build strong collaborative relationships with staff, students and external partners. They will provide leadership in managing complex issues, supporting organisational change, and ensuring services are responsive, effective and aligned with the University's strategic goals.
